Q: Can you share the origins and current standing of Corvus Vineyards?
Resit Soley: Bozcaada has a wine industry with a legacy dating back around 3,000 years. Sadly, in the last few decades, as the Greek population diminished, this cultural heritage experienced a sharp decline. Having observed this process for 20 years due to my residence in Bozcaada, I felt compelled to take action. Our goal is not merely profit; our investment is about rewriting the island’s history. To this end, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working on a project to define Turkey’s wine paths and transform them into Wine Tourism.
